In response to customer requests, Vodacom Business Services has announced Vodacom Cloud Monitor for Enterprise organisations. Vodacom Cloud Monitor allows the user’s in-house administrators to monitor the complete virtual environment of server loads and generate customised reports. It also gives customers a view on performance and resource utilization of their workloads in each geographical location.
“Our cloud solutions have been readily accepted by the market and we are experiencing real growth and better understanding of what flexible cloud solutions can bring to business,” says Ermano Quartero, managing executive at Vodacom Business. “We now have a strong base of cloud customers since launching our cloud solutions three years ago and we have listened to their requests for a monitoring product that enables them to get a 360 degree view of their virtual platforms. Vodacom Cloud Monitor gives them a complete picture of the performance and resource utilization of their workloads, receive alarms and create customised reports.”
Vodacom Cloud Monitor service will be offered in two versions – the Basic Vodacom Cloud Monitor package and an Advanced Vodacom Cloud Monitor package. As a value-added service every customer currently paying for the virtual hosting environment will be entitled to use the basic package for free.
The advanced package will be offered for a fixed monthly fee for each geographic location.
