Bytes Document Solutions (BDS), Africa’s leading technology and services company and the largest Xerox distributor in the world, has announced the appointment of Ivyline Technologies as official business partner within the Rustenburg area and its immediate surroundings. This partnership allows Ivyline Technologies to distribute Xerox products and managed print services on behalf of BDS.
BDS has an expanding footprint in 26 countries across sub-Sahara Africa, seven branches, over 30 business partners in South Africa and serviced by 80 technical centres –  Ivyline will benefit from partnering with one of Africa’s largest document management companies.
Ivyline Technologies was established in 1998 as a provider of outsourced hardware, software and maintenance solutions, with the objective of providing ancillary services to the customers of East Rand Document Solutions – an existing Xerox Business Partner and a sister company.
The company eventually evolved into a provider of digital office automation products and in August 2008 was appointed the authorised Xerox Partner for the Vaal Triangle and North West Province. This enabled Ivyline Technologies to expand its offerings and value proposition into Potchefstroom, Benoni, Vereeniging and Secunda.
This partnership in 2013 with BDS will enable Ivyline Technologies to take Xerox solutions to the Rustenburg and greater North West provincial areas.
Bobby Graham, MD for Ivyline Technologies is positive about this partnership and believes that the combination of strong customer relationships and expertise – backed by a strong global brand will influence significant demand for document services within the region.
Ivyline Technologies has consistently excelled as one of the North West’s leading providers of office automation solutions. Built upon a sound foundation of experience and dedication to customer satisfaction, they attribute their success to long-term professional relationships with their customers. The organisation is an accredited Level three B-BBEE contributor.
Johan Basson, CEO for BDS sees this partnership as an important step for the company, indicating that “BDS is very pleased to have concluded a partner agreement with Ivyline Technologies, a company with a history of sound business practices and high levels of success”.
