Asus has awarded Mustek distribution rights for the Asus range of products, including tablets and notebooks, across South Africa and other African regions.
This partnership will assist in growing Asus’ brand presence and customer base in the South African market, whilst at the same time supporting Mustek’s strategy to align with the strongest local and international brands.
“This is a partnership of mutual interests, focused on growth, quality and service, and we are confident that this relationship will be successful and beneficial to both parties involved,” says Jeff Kuo, country manager of Asus South Africa.
“Asus has seen steady growth in South Africa, mostly due to the popularity of its innovative and award-winning products, such as the Nexus 7,” says David Kan, CEO of Mustek.
“Mustek continues to focus on expanding our basket of offerings with premium brands to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Asus perfectly meets the significant demand for world class mobile solutions including their tier one notebook and tablet ranges.”
Mustek, established in 1987, is the largest assembler and supplier of personal computers in South Africa.
