Altech’s Value-Added Partner (VAP) agreement with Huawei has already provided benefits to a number of the group’s customers, and has added value to its offering across all of its enterprise-facing companies.
In order to leverage the benefits of this agreement and to enhance the solutions it provides, Altech ISIS management recently visited Huawei’s offices in China to strengthen the partnership.
Under the VAP agreement, Altech provides Huawei enterprise products and services to customers in South Africa, Angola, Botswana, DR Congo, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe – countries in which Altech ISIS has an established customer base.
“In order to be able to provide the full benefits of the partnership to our customers in these regions, we are growing our relationship with Huawei,” says Anton van Heerden, GM at Altech ISIS.
“This trip allowed us not only a better understanding of Huawei’s operations, but created a foundation that will better enable us to leverage their solutions to the benefit of our customers.”
Including solutions such as cloud services, unified communications and transmission solutions, network and application security services, data centre networking and storage solutions and ICT infrastructure services, the Huawei partnership dovetails perfectly with Altech ISIS’ solution suite.
“Combined with our skills and expertise, as well as our existing technology products, the Huawei offering adds another level to the suite of solutions we can offer our customers,” says Van Heerden.
Altech ISIS’ expertise lies in planning, building, supporting and managing the IT infrastructures of its clients, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions. Having access to Huawei Enterprise products will enhance this offering, specifically in the telecommunications and banking sectors.
Altech ISIS provides Huawei enterprise solutions to enable cost efficient working and solution optimisation. This continues Altech ISIS’ delivery of world class solutions that provide outstanding value.
“Our trip to China has initiated a closer dialogue with Huawei that will benefit our customers. We are not merely resellers of the company’s products, but are establishing a close working relationship with the company to ensure that we provide the best solutions for our customers,” Van Heerden concludes.
