Des Parker, CEO of Tecovation, part of Bothongo Group Commercial, has announced that they have been appointed as the regional reseller for Kounta in the southern African region.

Kounta, a cloud-based mobile point of sale system, takes the payment system evolution beyond the counter. Kounta recently announced that it can even take the sales relationship home with the customer, via a partnership with PayPal Mobile and online ordering application Beat the Q.
“I realised that the technology available wasn’t able to provide the type of service that customers needed to have in today’s online and connected world,” says Nick Cloete, founder of Kounta in Australia.
“We wanted to create interaction between merchants and customers rather than just a transaction at the counter. It’s about relationships, not just selling people things,” Cloete continues.

The main benefit of using Kounta is that it can run on existing hardware such as an iPad, Android tablet, laptop or PC. It is important to re-iterate that whilst the application is cloud based, it does have offline transaction capabilities so your business can keep running even if the internet is not available.
Tecovation and Kounta are offering a free 30 day trial and Tecovation will also assist new customers with the appropriate hardware to run Kounta.
