Through the Samsung Enterprise Alliance Programme (EAP), the organisation is providing differentiated partner benefits to independent software vendors (ISVs), System Integrators, and the channel to meet their unique needs in developing innovative solutions for enterprises, says Samsung Electronics South Africa.
“Samsung believes in the power of partnerships with organisations that provide mobile applications, services and horizontal and vertical solutions. With the EAP, the company has created a platform for its partners both locally and internationally to showcase their solutions on a global level,” says Paulo Ferreira, Head of Enterprise Mobility at Samsung Electronics South Africa.
The core values of the programme (commitment, reliance, quality, future, and opportunity) have been designed to enable Samsung and its partners to have a mutually beneficial relationship to enhance future growth prospects. Integral to the EAP, is to create new marketing and revenue opportunities in the enterprise mobile business with Samsung applications, products and solutions.
Samsung created the programme to take advantage of the growth in the business-to-business mobility space and to harness the power of its partners. Some partners will have the opportunity to develop differentiated mobile solutions with best-in-class technical support. Others will be able to work more closely with Samsung to develop joint go-to-market strategies.
However, all partners can access the most up-to-date sales and marketing material, receive Samsung support for qualified business opportunities, and use the programme to increase market awareness of their partnership with Samsung. They also receive access to software developer kits, application programming interfaces, and the option to procure mobile devices at discounted rates.
The EAP has three components – the ISV Programme, designed to promote and support ISVs in developing enterprise mobile solutions on the Samsung mobile platform; the System Integrator (SI)/Value Added Reseller (VAR) Programme, designed to cultivate a partner ecosystem that provides robust support for driving business growth; and the Distributor Programme, designed to support distribution partners who sell Samsung Mobile products and solutions to enterprise customers through their sub-channel network.
“The EAP was created to enable members to build better customised solutions and become true partners in our go-to-market strategy. We encourage organisations, which fall within the scope of this programme, to join and benefit from the potential business growth and value added services it has to offer,” he says.
