Esquire Technologies has signed an exclusive southern Africa distribution agreement – effective from 1 July this year – with Arctic Switzerland, formerly known as Arctic Cooling.
Arctic is well-known as a manufacturers of computer cooling components, mainly CPU and graphics card coolers and thermal pastes.
The company has won numerous awards for innovation and design and boasts major market shares in US, UK, Germany and Switzerland.
Since 2010, Arctic expanded its business by starting a diverse range of products to cater to various consumer demands beyond that of computer cooling hardware. Nowadays, Arctic also offers various consumer products from spanning audio, home entertainment and computer peripherals.
Esquire has, over the last few months, increased it focus on the PC-based gaming industry by adding products aimed at the PC enthusiast and gamer.
Asgar Mahomed, MD of Esquire, comments: “We are happy to be partnering and signing the distributor agreement with Arctic Switzerland as this represents the establishment of what we hope will be a special relationship to bring the complete Arctic innovative and award-winning range of products to South Africa. Until Now Arctic products could only be ordered from overseas online Web sites.
“We are now bringing these to our local market.
“Some of the products are already available from more than 400 of our Virtual Reseller Network (VRN) e-commerce sites and also available in a number of computer retail stores. We will also be making these products available in mass retail stores in the in the next two to three months and look forward to presenting their exciting new products to our customers in the months and years ahead.”
