Sage Netcash has announced that, as from 1 October 2013, it will align with Sage Pay, a leader in the payments industry in the UK and mainland Europe.Sage has identified the payments business as a strategic priority, and the brand alignment forms part a planned move to strengthen the presence of Sage Pay in the key Sage geographies. Sage is a provider of software solutions to more than 6-million small and medium sized businesses across 24 countries, with over 25 years’ experience.

“The rebrand to Sage Pay will enhance opportunities to leverage expertise and experience across the business. As leaders in our field in South Africa, our business is committed to delivering value and great service to customers, and we are confident that product enhancements and innovation will benefit customers with this strategic change,” says Charles Pittaway, co-founder and managing director of Sage Pay South Africa.

Sage Netcash also celebrates their 10th year of enabling small to medium sized companies, to process debit order and payment transactions via a secure online account.

“Our aim is to connect businesses with a range of over twenty services, through one Sage Pay account, offering customer’s real value and simplicity” adds Pittaway. Future product enhancements are on the cards and Sage Pay is looking forward to launching these solutions to the market within the later part of 2013.
