Afrihost is giving away double data on its standard mobile data packages until the end of February 2014.
In September, the ISP entered the mobile data market offering data at less than R29.00 per Gb and is now doubling its data from 1 December.
Any client on a standard package will receive double their data allocation for the same price. This means a user who previously had a 1Gb package for R99 per month will now receive 1Gb plus an additional 1Gb for the same price – effectively halving the per Gb rate from R99.00 per month to R49,50 per month on that package.
Mobile Two clients currently receiving 2Gb plus 3Gb free for R145.00 per month will continue to receive the same offer, while Mobile Three clients will now receive 3Gb plus 4Gb free for R197.00.
Afrihost will also be introducing three new packages – also with doubled data – on 5Gb, 7Gb and 10Gb with data from less than R25.00 per Gb or an effective saving on free data of up to R3 000.00.
New packages will go live for new signups from 14 November, and existing clients will receive free data from 1 December.
