Aptronics, one of South Africa’s foremost black empowered IT solutions providers, walked away with four accolades at the HP Partner awards ceremony held at Urban Tree in Sandton on 14 November 2013.
The company was presented with an EMEA level award – the HP Value Computing Partner Certificate 2013 and HP Thin Client and Virtualisation Partner of the year 2013 in the Gold partner category.
Consistency is an Aptronics strong point, no better reflected than through their multi-award-winning CEO Appie Pema, this year he scooped his 5th HP Channel Exec of the year award. Complementing this excellent achievement Adele Schoonwinkel (Service Business Development Manager) was presented with the outstanding HP Services Channel Champion Award for 2013.
Pema described the Value Computing Partner Certificate2013 award as the high-end of the personal computing category, which encompasses workstations and thin clients. Additionally he expressed the significance of that credit at an EMEA level.
“The Thin Client and Virtualisation Partner of the year award is aimed at recognising a partner that invests in the VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and acknowledges excellence in datacentre skills. We are proud of this achievement as datacentre is one of our primary focuses,” says Pema.
“HP is a one of the global leaders in information technology. We hope that these awards, together with the company’s reputation for consistency, are indicative of Aptronic’s own commitment and dedication to excellent service delivery,” he adds.
“We are proud of our accomplishments and to be associated with a reputable company such as HP for 20 years and counting. Of course, none of this would have been achieved without our dedicated team and staff,” concludes Pema.
