SuperSport has teamed up with SuperBru to run its fantasy and predictor games this year.
The gaming portal, SuperBru, that will be available on SuperSport.com, will open up a whole new world of gaming choice to fantasy game fans.
The games will be available on SuperSport’s Web site. Sports fans will be able to play against SuperSport presenters and other viewers in all SuperBru tournaments, including CHAN soccer, Varsity Cup, Super Rugby,
Champions League, Formula 1, FIFA World Cup amongst others.
The new extended gaming offering will support the unrivalled TV coverage on SuperSport, helping to build engagement in more tournaments, create interaction with fans, and ultimately help to drive increased viewing
figures.
“SuperBru and prediction gaming have become synonymous with sports fans in Africa. We are delighted to be working with the team at SuperBru to take gaming across our platforms to new highs,” says Graeme
Cumming, GM, Sport Portals at DStv Digital Media.
A recent survey of SuperBru players found that over 53% had watched more Currie Cup rugby in 2013 because they were taking part in the SuperBru prediction game and had an additional interest in every fixture. With
hundreds of thousands of registered players, SuperBru can complement the SuperSport coverage effectively.
James Hutchison, commercial director at SuperBru adds, “SuperBru has become a great way to follow sport, and by teaming up with SuperSport and their extensive live coverage, we can reach more people and deliver
an enhanced experience for sports fans across Africa.”
