Web Africa has announced a price cut for its uncapped Internet access packages, with up to 62% reduction in monthly subscriptions.

“With these kinds of rates, we are positioning ADSL to once again become the best option for households and small businesses currently relying on expensive and increasingly slow 3G connections for their internet connectivity,” says Tim Wyatt-Gunning, CEO of Web Africa.

The price reduction, which kicked into action on 24 January 2014, will benefit home uncapped users with up to a 62% reduction in their monthly subscriptions.

Business users will also benefit from these reduced prices but will continue to pay a premium for the additional services and privileges (including prioritised bandwidth) that they require for smooth business operations.

“Web Africa caters to everyone’s needs; from serious data-junkies with 20Mbps VDSL for R999.00 per month, whilst keeping basic home use at R179.00 per month,” says Wyatt-Gunning. “This change in pricing gives our 20Mbps customers a monthly savings of R1 000.00, which goes a long way these days.”

Uncapped Business ADSL prices start at R299.00 for a 1Mbps connection. At the top-end, 40Mbps VDSL customers will pay only R2 799.00 a month, saving R2 000.00.
