Network security appliance vendor Cyberoam has appointed Core Networks as its distribution partner in South Africa.

The South African security market has a forecasted annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7,6% over the next five years. Of which firewalls and unified threat management (UTM) appliances continue to be the primary components.

Adrian Anema, country manager: South Africa, at Cyberoam, says: “Enterprises are increasingly prioritizing network security in this region but most often insufficient funds and lack of in-house expertise, are hurdles. Hence, the need for an effective in-house and/or third party solution is definitely there.

“Cyberoam with its holistic offerings will prove to be an ideal choice for organisation seeking security that delivers ROI.”

The appointment of value-add distributor Core Networks as a Cyberoam distribution partner is aimed at making deeper inroads into the region.

Lynton Lubbe, channel manager of Core Networks, comments: “We are single vendor supporters and such focussed outlook enables us to render superior service in our chosen market, which is widely appreciated by our customers.

“By partnering with Cyberoam – a global leading network security brand, we intend to reach a larger market portion and establish new benchmarks of quality in security solutions. We strive on customer service, providing a 24/7 support structure.”
