The Fourie family, founders and major shareholders in Pinnacle, have continued to acquire shares in the group following a dramatic slide in its share price after an executive director was charged with bribery.

Within two days of Thakalani Tshivhase being charged, shares in Pinnacle spiralled from around R20.00 per share to R11.20, but following large share purchases by the Fourie family late last week, the share price has rallied to around R14.60.

On Tuesday this week, the Elandre Family Trust purchased an additional 50 000 shares valued at R737 143.

Last week, the family trust snapped up 300 000 shares at an average price of R12.11.
