Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa is excited to welcome two new 40ppm devices, replacing existing products, and two new additions, with print speeds of up to 60ppm, which enter at the top end of the range.
The ECOSYS M3540dn features an LCD display to cater for more cost-conscious customers while the ECOSYS M3540idn, ECOSYS M3550idn and ECOSYS M3560idn come with a premium 7-inch colour touch panel.
Blake Grace, product manager at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa notes, “We have updated and expanded our ECOSYS range to broaden our product offering into new segments and to ensure our end-users are fully catered for with reliable products which deliver significant savings.
“Our new MFPs offer the levels of performance usually only associated with A3 devices and all four models are designed for demanding workgroup environments. A new high performance controller boasts high standard memory across the family and our Mobile Print app and AirPrint capability means end-users are in control of their documents wherever they are.”
In addition to a host of new features, the range incorporates Kyocera’s award-winning ECOSYS technology which lowers waste generated during the life of the product with its durable imaging system and up to 500 000 page drum.
Designed to meet the new Blue Angel and Energy Star 2.0 accreditations, the overall Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) values of the range have been reduced by up to 43%. The ergonomics of each device have also been improved to deliver quieter printing and scanning, as well as the introduction of new chrome-plated rollers to enable a longer printer life by preventing wear and tear.
Scanning functionality is improved and security features have been enhanced across the range. The range offers a 75-page document processor and standard scanning of up to 60ipm give extraordinary performance, while the A6 scanning is perfect for vertical markets such as healthcare and the finance sector.
Security standards are improved with encryption of PDF documents – a new feature for the A4 devices which ensures that documents remain secure, even when sending via e-mail.
The colour touch panel MFPs integrate seamlessly into a wide range of powerful business applications, each driven by Kyocera’s HyPAS software platform to create bespoke customer solutions and document workflows.
As Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa is an official sponsor to The Sharks Rugby, Kyocera believes in the power of Black and White. The new additions to the ECOSYS family give businesses the power to improve their workflow efficiently.
