South African telecommunications company Vox Telecom has announced its partnership with Mimecast South Africa, a leading provider of cloud-based e-mail archiving, continuity and security. It believes this partnership makes it the first vendor able to deliver a turnkey e-mail solution to the market.

Says Craig Freer, head of products at Vox Telecom, “Mimecast’s Unified Email Management enables us to offer our customers e-mail security, continuity and archiving and this together with MailTrack, our e-mail auditing and tracking product and BulkMailer, our e-mail marketing tool, delivers a complete e-mail management solution for companies both in the enterprise and small business environment.”

Mimecast Unified Email Management, from Vox Telecom simplifies and reduces e-mail infrastructure and administration overheads and removes the need to deploy, integrate and manage multiple standalone e-mail management solutions, simplifying the complexity of e-mail management.

“Individually, Mimecast and Vox Telecom are both well-respected, innovative brands in the market, but in partnership we have built a strong team and value proposition to bring meaningful solutions to local businesses. We look forward to a successful future together,” says Werno Gevers, Channel and Alliances at Mimecast South Africa.

“With more than 400 billion e-mails sent daily it is imperative for organisations to develop an e-mail strategy that meets the regulatory requirements of risk mitigation and compliance. Vox Telecom is ideally placed to assist, with the added peace of mind, of single vendor implementation and support,” concludes Freer.
