Mobile is the way of the future, and no consumer wants to be tied to a desk when using their computer. Furthermore, getting the performance, speed and storage you need from a notebook, as well as superior durability to handle life’s knocks, has typically been a costly task.
The new Dell Inspiron 15 3542 notebook from distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) changes this – a durable notebook designed to handle life in the real world, offering the latest processors, impressive specifications, excellent graphics and all the storage you need for important files and media.

The Dell Inspiron 15 3542 offers up to 1Tb of storage capacity to store music, movies, documents, photographs and every other aspect of your digital life. A built-in media card reader makes it easy to transfer videos and photos from your camera while USB 3.0 lets you transfer files to external storage devices.
An optional DVD drive allows you to burn playlists to disc, watch movies and load software with ease, and the spacious HD display ensures crisp details and vibrant colours for any multimedia experience.
To ensure the Inspiron 15 3542 can handle life in the real world, it is tested for reliability across a number of factors. The laptop hinges are tested to ensure they still feel tight, even after opening and closing the lid 20 000 times. Commonly used keys are tested for 10 million keystrokes, and touchpad buttons 1-million times, while power and multimedia buttons are tested for survival up to 40 000 pushes.
The base and lid are twisted more than 25 000 times to ensure internal components are well protected, and the battery can be removed and replaced up to 30 times. The Dell Inspiron 15 3542 can also handle harsh short-term heat conditions of up to 65°C.
“In addition to featuring impressive specifications and the latest processor and Operating System (OS) technology, the Dell Inspiron 15 3542 is designed to meet the challenges of life in the real world.
