StarLink, security-specialist value-added-distributor (VAD), has expanded its RedSeal distribution coverage into South Africa.

StarLink will sell, install and support RedSeal products and solutions through its channel partners to enterprise and government customers in South Africa.

“RedSeal gets ahead of cyber criminals by calculating every possible internal and external ‘attack path’ to the most valuable network assets before they do,” says James Mulhern, sales director EMEA, Russia and CIS at RedSeal. “Customers get a prioritised list of the most vulnerable paths to their most valuable assets.

“We are excited to be able to offer our best-of-breed technology to customers in South Africa as we bolster our distribution force with StarLink who have already started assisting us to expand our channel breadth and market share in other regions they cover.”

“Customers in South Africa commonly have difficulty in visualizing and maintaining an accurate and common view of their network vulnerabilities. As a key player in Layer-3 vulnerability management and security benchmarking through top notch practices of scanning, validating, simulating and assessing risk to sensitive data, RedSeal strengthens StarLink’s Vulnerability Management story, which is currently gaining rapid momentum across South Africa,” says Wayne Donnelly, country manager: South Africa at StarLink.
