Cell C MegaBonus customers will receive more from their MegaBonus prepaid offer.
From 5 October, Cell C will boost the value on its MegaBonus prepaid promotional offer from three to four times the value for any recharge above R5. For example, a customer that recharges with R10, will receive an additional R30 of free value to use on Cell C minutes, data or SMS.
“The first iteration of this promotion was very successful, and with the festive season coming up, we thought we would give our customers a little more to look forward to,” says Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos.
Additionally, Cell C is extending the validity period of the free value received for this promotion. For all recharges under R99, the validity period of the free value will be three days from the date of recharge. For recharges R100 and above, the validity of the bonus value will be five days.
“With the increase in the bonus value, we felt that customers could use a little more time to get through their value. I am sure MegaBonus customers will be pleased with the extended period that we will be putting in place this weekend,” says Dos Santos.
Customers that have already signed up for the MegaBonus promotion or who use the EasyChat All Day Per Second tariff plan, will automatically receive 15 free Cell C minutes as a once off bonus when they recharge with R10 or more from 5 October.
New or existing Cell C customers that switch to the MegaBonus promotion by dialling *108# will receive 15 additional Cell C minutes on their first recharge of R10 or more.
“This is Cell C’s way of showing its commitment to continue offering the best recharge rewards program and confirm to our customers that we value them,” says Dos Santos.
Prepaid customers on either the EasyChat All Day Per Second or MegaBonus tariff plans can also look forward to free access to WhatsApp from 19 October. Customers will not be charged for data usage whilst using WhatsApp, be it messages, pictures, videos or voice messages.
The improved MegaBonus promotion will be available to all prepaid customers on EasyChat All Day Per Second or MegaBonus tariff plans from 5 October and will be available until 21 December 2014.
