Milestone Systems has appointed Pinnacle Africa as a new distribution partner in the southern African region.
Milestone Systems is a global leader in open platform IP video management software and is well known for joining forces with a powerful ecosystem of partners to offer dynamic surveillance solutions and we are particularly proud to now form a part of this ecosystem.
Kitty van der Sluis, Milestone Distribution director for EMEA, comments: “We have appointed Pinnacle to support our effort to penetrate more markets in the Southern African region as well as strengthen our presence in the local South African market.”
Milestone’s director of Sales for Middle East and Africa, Peter Biltsted, adds: “Due to the continued growth in the region in 2012/13, Milestone added local resources into the Southern African region in 2014 in the form of Michael Metcalfe who will continue to this growth, strengthen our position and penetrate the market even further. To assist Milestone with this continued growth we felt it necessary to expand further into the surrounding regions around South Africa as well through a partner vastly touching these areas and we found Pinnacle was that additional partner.”
Milestone will be positioned as a core offering within our stable and forms an important addition to our Security and Surveillance product offering in support of the Axis, Bosch, Samsung and Hikvision product range, as well as the Paxton Access Control offerings.
Security and surveillance brand manager for Pinnacle Africa Jéan Coetzee says, “We are very excited to now be in a position to distribute Milestone System products. The interaction with Supermicro Servers and storage, as well as our comprehensive range of ICT equipment will establish Pinnacle Africa as major player and solutions provider within the Security Arena.
“The addition of Milestone to any CCTV Solution adds immense value to the Solution and gives Pinnacle the opportunity to attach the added value and offer a higher level of engagement with both existing and new clients.”
