Acer is a leading vendor of IT products in the education market and aims to support the change of the way students learn and teachers teach nowadays.
Acer believes the most valuable part of computing is its power to spread knowledge.
With its full product portfolio Acer addresses the growing demands of all the levels of education, starting from nursery school and primary school up to university and adult education. In 2015 Acer continues to show its strong commitment to education sector by enhancing its partnership with the channel resellers.
Acer has an extensive reseller partner network across EMEA. The Acer Education Partners are highly specialised dealers capable of satisfying the education market demands. Schools and universities may receive fully integrated IT solutions which fit their environment and their technological needs.
Jakob Jersild Olsen, vice-president of EMEA of Acer’s Commercial Channel Division adds: “The education sector remains the most important vertical market for Acer. Together with our reseller partners we aim to improve the efficiency of learning by integrating technological solutions. We are 100% committed to our indirect channel model and continue developing and investing in channel programs dedicated to the education reseller partners.”
In 2014 Acer has successfully launched the Acer Education Solution Centre program in 15 countries across EMEA. The program is currently unique in the market and helps Acer’s top education reseller partners to do a profitable business together with Acer.
The program includes a wide range of benefits such as pilot project support, demo program, sales incentives, marketing fusing, and bidding support. Moreover Acer relies on partners’ expertise and frequently arranges advisory council meetings to get partners’ feedback on coming Acer products and industry trends.
“The new Acer Education Solution Centre program was highly appreciated by our partners and it doesn’t have an analogue on the market. We see a significant positive impact on our business performance driven by channel partnerships we have built in the last years. In 2015 we are planning to add more partners to our network.” says Jakob Jersild Olsen, VP EMEA of Acer’s Commercial Channel Division.
In 2014 Acer together with its partners has launched various pilot projects in several countries including the Netherlands, South Africa, Nigeria, and Germany, providing schools with IT solutions including Acer hardware products.
