Cyberoam has announced the appointment of Mark Roberts as its new channel manager for the Western Cape region.
In his new role, Roberts will lead Cyberoam’s focused efforts to grow its channel business in Western Cape by strengthening the channel network through better engagement with existing partners and adding to the partner roster.
Roberts brings a wealth of demonstrable experience to his new job. He has worked with some big ticket companies and has a successful track record of growing partner networks and sales figures of the companies he has worked with. He has also worked in New Zealand with some of the biggest names in business, which enables him to bring the advantage of a rich international sales and marketing exposure to his current job responsibilities.
Roberts also has past experience in selling Cyberoam products, which means he is immensely comfortable with the Cyberoam ecosystem.  He has an in-depth understanding of how Cyberoam’s network security appliances are perfectly suited for securing network perimeters of enterprise businesses, SMBs and SOHO users in South Africa.
Roberts, believes the business environment across South Africa is ripe for growth in demand of IT security solutions. “The South African security appliances market is expected to touch $56,7-million by 2018. There is absolutely no doubt, South African businesses and institutes are taking cyber security seriously and beginning to realize the importance of keeping their network perimeter safe. In this scenario, Cyberoam’s diverse product offerings are best placed to satisfy their need for better and more comprehensive network security.
