Quadriga Worldwide, an international provider of Internet and entertainment managed services, currently deploying its WiFi cloud-based solutions into AccorHotels’ brands throughout Africa.
After supplying the global hotel chain leader with guest entertainment and communication solutions for several years around the globe, Quadriga has established an effective organisation to support AccorHotels in its development in the region.
With more than 40 hotels installed over the past year, Quadriga have become the main Internet solution provider for Accor in Africa, rolling out their wireless Internet solution – including router, switches, access points and gateway – in Morocco, Benin, Senegal, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Guinea.
The growth of AccorHotels properties in Africa is due to double in coming years and Quadriga are now prepared to face any incoming requests with appropriate people both at continent and local levels.
Fabrice Gaultier, regional IT director of AccorHotels for Africa, comments: “Quadriga are currently showing AccorHotels their ability to look after our hotels in Africa with efficiency, by providing a true local support with skilled engineers available when needed. It is critical for AccorHotels to partner with companies that consider Africa as part of their development strategy like any other region in the world. This is the reason why we decided to work with them.”
Richard Robaix, GM at the Ibis and Novotel Cotonou, comments: “Having Quadriga here has been a big step forward as it brings us new guests. They have managed to deploy quickly, minimising troubles with operations and providing an excellent WiFi coverage in all areas. The local presence is second to none and is proof of efficiency and availability. They have exceeded our expectations.”
Mireille Sahou, Regional IT for AccorHotels West Africa, confirms that Quadriga’s team have been very efficient. Installing more than 450 wireless access points at the newly opened Sofitel Abidjan in less than 10 days, the hotel were more than ready to welcome the annual Summit of the DAB (African Development Bank) in May 2015.
Olivier Hennion, MD of Quadriga Africa adds: “Having the right people at the right place is a true challenge for any company in the world but it takes on a whole new meaning in Africa. We are proud to support our customers with the quality of service they expect.”
