Infortrend has announced the official appointment of CSSi (Computer Storage Services) as the distributor for its award-winning range of storage devices.

Infortrend’s is able to interchange host ports on its DS family storage range. So if a connectivity or platform change is required, the devices can be modified to fibre channel or SAS, and even to 10Gbe by just changing a host card. The Infortrend product portfolio caters for the NAS, DAS and SAN market from a couple of Terabytes to high end Petabyte requirements.
Because the host interface modules are independent of the storage controllers, the DR range can be configured or at any time upgraded between fibre channel, iSCSI or SAS, alongside with its default iSCSI ports without having to replace disk, the array or any lengthy downtime.
