CA Southern Africa has signed a partnership with In2IT, a leading provider of managed services for remote monitoring and management of critical IT infrastructure.
In terms of the agreement, In2IT will be able to provide its clients with an-end-to-end IT monitoring service based on CA Unified Infrastructure Management (CA UIM). Additionally, In2IT will be able to resell CA products to its clients, if required. As a unified IT monitoring solution, CA UIM eliminates the need for disparate monitoring solutions, helping enterprises to optimise operational efficiency while reducing the complexity, cost and hassle of having to use and integrate multiple IT monitoring tools.
“Managing today’s complex IT environments places a massive burden on internal IT departments, so they are looking for end-to-end solutions delivered as a managed service and backed up by performance-based agreements,” says Saurabh Kumar, CEO of In2IT. “To do that, we need the right people, processes and toolsets. CA’s product offerings provide exactly what we need in order to deliver the service our clients require.”
Based in Johannesburg, In2IT has a presence in nine countries. According to Saurabh, In2IT already counts the majority of South Africa’s Top 100 companies among its clients, as well as important parastatals. The company delivers services from its 100-seat Africa Innovation Centre in Johannesburg, as well as from facilities in India, or from the client site, as required.
Kumar says the Johannesburg data centre has the potential to service organisations across sub-Saharan Africa.
Gary Lawrence, MD of CA Southern Africa, says the deal is an important one. “In2IT operates in a very distinct market fulfilling real needs in the application economy where it is winning business. This partnership is a good fit for CA Southern Africa and provides significant growth opportunities for both companies, while delivering real value to customers.”
