Cell C has won two prestigious awards at the Ask Afrika Orange Index annual awards ceremony.
The Ask Afrika Orange Index, South Africa’s largest and most widely-referenced service excellence benchmark with 15 000 interviews across 33 industries, ranked Cell C ahead of 28 other call centres across all industries.
“Over the last five years, Cell C has developed an internal culture based on four pillars of excellence that are underpinned by our staff involvement. Three of the key pillars are service excellence, quality network and innovation, all of which are acknowledged with these awards,” says Cell C’s CEO Jose Dos Santos.
Cell C’s focus on excellent customer care has delivered to the company several accolades over the last year, proving that this focus is paying dividends not only to Cell C but also its customer base.
“The best Call Centre Award is an honour that goes to all our call centre staff, where each of them is tasked with the care of our customers’ needs and queries,” says Dos Santos.
The second award, best Internet Service Provider Award, which falls under Cell C’s pillar of innovation, rewards Cell C’s strategic investment in innovative offerings and a quality network.
Cell C’s extensive focus on the development of its network, including the rollout of LTE and LTE-Advanced across the country, has also allowed the company to offer innovative products to its Internet customers.
“Taking the top honour in a very competitive category is testament to the work we have put into our network over the last few years and proves its excellent quality,” says Dos Santos.
Cell C is proud to receive such highly recognised industry awards and thank both customers and the Ask Afrika Orange Index for the recognition.
