AltX-listed technology-driven engineering solutions group, Ansys Limited (Share Code: ANS), has announced the appointment of a new MD at one of its subsidiaries, Tedaka Network Solutions.

Andrew Matseke (52) joins Tedaka from Transnet Rail, where he was the Executive Manager of Telecommunications for four years. Prior to that he was the MD at Powertech TIS.

Tedaka Network Solutions designs, installs, commissions, distributes and integrates high-quality telecommunications products and solutions that are custom-designed to enhance the network integrity of its clients. The company is a turn-key service provider to Tier 1 communication companies, government departments, state-owned companies, and educational and private institutions.

In line with group strategy, its vision is to be the premium IP-led technology provider and to partner with its clients in order to provide, maintain and update state-of-the-art connectivity products and related support services.

Matseke, who has a BSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and electrical industries to the company. He has worked on implementing ground-breaking telecommunications solutions not only in South Africa, but also in Botswana, Lesotho, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo, which has given him invaluable insight into the broader continental market.
