Police in China have arrested 22 people accused of stealing and selling the private data of Apple users.
The people are suspected of having infringed the privacy of Apple users by illegally getting their digital personal information.
It is unclear whether the information is from Apple users in China or other regions.
Most of the suspects are thought to work for companies that worked with Apple, possibly at distributors, who used internal systems to access the names, phone numbers, Apple IDs and other personal data of Apple users.
This information was sold for piecemeal about 50-million yuan in total.
