IBM has won the VMware 2016 Global System’s Outsourcer Partner Innovation Award.
“VMware is pleased to recognise this year’s Global Partner Innovation Award winners, which are given to a select group of partners for their exceptional efforts in 2016,” says Ross Brown, senior vice -president: worldwide partners and alliances at VMware. “VMware is proud to see IBM win the Global Systems Outsourcer Partner award, and we look forward to our continued collaboration.”
“It’s an honour to be recognised as a leader in the IT Infrastructure space,” says Max Michaels, GM: network services at IBM. “Cloud has taken over computing and storage systems, and cloud-driven networks are now making software-defined infrastructure (SDI) a reality.
“The transition to SDI requires innovative strategies and security-centred architectures that IBM Global Technology Services offers based on our track record and experience in enterprise transformation.”
Recipients of a Global VMware Partner Innovation Award were acknowledged in 21 categories for outstanding performance and distinctive achievements during 2016.
