Long-time Jasco Enterprise managerial executive Anneke Grond has been named as the company’s new MD.
“Anneke will be responsible for the execution of both long and short-term plans, and ensuring that Jasco Enterprise delivers on its promises to both customers and its own people,” says Mark van Vuuren, Jasco Group chief operations officer.
Grond previously served in the capacity of executive for central region at Jasco Enterprise, and has held additional leadership positions within the company since 2010. These include the roles of general operations manager for Jasco Security Solutions and executive for central operations.
Prior to joining Jasco, Anneke served as chief director for ICT infrastructure and applications at the South African Department of Communications, and held positions at both Telkom and Gilat Satellite Networks.
“Jasco is an exciting environment and I find myself constantly challenged with new opportunities for growth and development,” Grond comments. “This role will prove to be another interesting challenge; one which I am looking forward to with relish. I am excited by the opportunity to deliver on the role’s requirements, while taking Jasco Enterprise onwards and upwards.”
She adds that there is always room for continuous improvement, and says that her short-term goals in her new position include continuing the growth trend Jasco has seen in a challenging economy.
“My main focus in this new role will be maintaining and building on our reputation, leveraging a customer-centric approach and making sure that they (our customers) are at the heart of all we do here. In an uncertain economy, it is important to be able to help customers to spend their budgets wisely, giving them maximum value for money while delivering on superior services.
“It is our job to advise them of the technologies available and help them implement solutions which will optimise expenses, streamline operations, improve efficiency for their business functions, and boost their bottom line,” Grond adds. “My role is to ensure that Jasco Enterprise continues to guide customers when considering important trends around big data, digitisation and analytics, through offering carefully planned solutions that solve their business problems.”
