Itec South Africa has formalised a two-and-a-half year relationship into a new three-year partnership agreement with The Sunshine Tour, ending in December 2019.
The contract will see Itec SA as a sole provider of printer and copier business solutions for the organisation.
“Having worked with The Sunshine Tour over the past two years, we understand their business requirements intrinsically and are very excited at the opportunity to continue this solid partnership as well as to provide them with a comprehensive business solution — aligned to their dynamic business needs,” says Gavin Meyer, executive director of Itec SA.
The Tour changed their copier supplier to Itec SA, at its tournament venues in 2015, where the company has been reliably supplying the Tour with these services at all tournaments, both for The Sunshine Tour and Big Easy Tour. The new agreement partnership will encompass both copier and printer services for the organisation.
“As a business, we are well equipped to specify, supply and back up customised technology solutions which enable our clients to simplify their operations, increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness and we believe that it is this offering – coupled with solid customer service – has placed us in a strong position to support the growing needs of The Sunshine Tour,” continues Meyer.
“As a business that operates across Southern Africa, we require a supplier that is able to service the full spectrum of The Sunshine Tour — regardless of location, and we believe that Itec SA, with 47 offices across Southern Africa, is well placed to do just this. Not only this but, very importantly, they are the only technology provider able to provide us with a carbon offset offering — critical to an organisation such as ours which is underpinned by being outdoors and maintaining the environmental aspects in which we operate,” says Selwyn Nathan, Executive Director of the Sunshine Tour.
Esti Kilian, business development and marketing manager for Itec, said the partnership with the Sunshine Tour is one which gives them much pleasure. “It is good to be able to contribute to an organisation which produces such good results locally and internationally, and we are proud to be a part of that,” she said.
Nathan concludes: “We are grateful for the support of partners like Itec. There are so many parts of our business that benefit from the input of partners, and Itec enables us to get the job done. Their support helps us maintain our standards and we are able to give our players the kinds of tournaments that help them excel on the world stage.”
