Duxbury Networking has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Green Packet, a specialist vendor addressing connectivity challenges in fixed and wireless networks.
With a presence in 70 countries, the Malaysian-headquartered vendor has solid foundations, built up over 15 years, in established as well as emerging markets.
Tobie van Schalkwyk, business development manager at Duxbury Networking, says Green Packet — one of Asia’s largest connectivity solutions providers – has made significant contributions towards the advancement of the global communications industry and now, as a vendor-partner with Duxbury, is well-placed to meet the latest technology demands in the South African telecommunications arena.
Green Packet, which boasts a technology partnership with Intel and is a board member of the of the WiMAX Forum, is one of the world’s most prolific innovators having racked up a number of ‘firsts’ in the industry, including the design and manufacture of the world’s first multi-mode LTE modem.
Van Schalkwyk says that Duxbury Networking will initially focus on Green Packet’s DA Series which features product offerings that support multiple LTE bands crossing both 4G and 3G spectra.
“Through its accredited dealer/reseller base and in line with Green Packet’s philosophy, Duxbury will offer flexible, easy-to-implement, connectivity solutions designed to cater for the evolving wireless technology requirements of today’s mobile device users,” he adds.
