Injection Moulding Specialist – Port ElizabethDuties:âú‚¬Â¢ Follow the start-up of all injection machines on site in order to get company standards and best practicesâú‚¬Â¢ Prepare the initial samples with Plant and Project team for the final customer according to quality standard and time schedule. âú‚¬Â¢ Put-on the control and insure the stability of productionâú‚¬Â¢ Examine the feasibility of all new injection processes and new products and validate all improvements before to start in production modeâú‚¬Â¢ Train and coach the Injection setters in plantâú‚¬Â¢ Contribute, in liaison with the Maintenance Supervisor, to improve the maintenance procedures.âú‚¬Â¢ Propose and implement continuous productivity (SMED, CIGâú‚¬Â¦) and quality (scrap) improvement actions concerning injection process.âú‚¬Â¢ Manage the technical processes, parameters and tooling for the relevant processes.âú‚¬Â¢ Lead the QRCI process to investigate quality concerns caused by process and/or equipment.âú‚¬Â¢ Integrate ergonomic principles in equipment and plant layout.âú‚¬Â¢ Support maintenance in root cause analysis for equipment failures.âú‚¬Â¢ Review of Process Flow Diagrams.âú‚¬Â¢ Lead the FMEA process.âú‚¬Â¢ Manage the product interface with Product Development.âú‚¬Â¢ Contribute to the Engineering Change process.âú‚¬Â¢ Support continuous improvement activities.âú‚¬Â¢ Define product specification and support the tooling and equipment buy-off process with all the relevant stakeholders.âú‚¬Â¢ Ensure continuous improvement by capitalizing on lessons learnt and provide best practices using the available tools.âú‚¬Â¢ Closely liaise with division & BG technology specialist to ensure standards are applied and maintained.âú‚¬Â¢ Continuously research changes in technological advancement in order to keep up with changes.âú‚¬Â¢ Strictly adhere to BG & Division reporting standards and deadlines. âú‚¬Â¢ After hours support to any process or maintenances issuesQualifications and Experienceâú‚¬Â¢ National Diploma or other relevant qualification.âú‚¬Â¢ Minimum 3 yearsâú‚¬ú„¢ experience as an Injection Moulding Specialist, inclusive of extensive material qualities knowledge (essential)âú‚¬Â¢ Toolmaking experienceâú‚¬Â¢ Strong robotic programming skills essentialâú‚¬Â¢ Good technical product and process knowledge.âú‚¬Â¢ Strong communication skills in the English languagePlease forward your CV to [Email Address Removed] or alternatively apply online Ref: ND48994Please note that if you have not received any response in 14 days your application has been unsuccessful
