Our client, a leading ICT based in Cape Town, is now looking to employ an experienced Manager to lead the development teams consisting of 3 large development teams compromising 20 staff members.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of development and product strategy; lead the overall development life cycle; quality assurance; stakeholder management; HR management; cost and time planning and management, and reporting directly to the CTO.
This position will be based in the Somerset West office 2-3 days per week and alternate days remotely.
The Development Manager needs to have a solid Development background to understand the technical side, operations experience in order to manager throughput and sprint efficiencies, and finally a solid general management and business background
In order to manage people and the departmental budget.

- 5 – 10 years management experience within a development environment (project management)
- Experience delivering large projects
- Agile and Lean methodologies
- Eperience in testing and test automation
- Own transport and able to travel
