6 months FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Objective:
To deal with planning, administration and general external sales related issues, to achieve the business objectives.
Duties:
- Follow up on emails and calls by customers and closely manage the relationship with existing customers.
- Support internal sales by following up to the created leads and report back to internal Sales.

Inform customers of any stock outs as a way of managing customer relations

Reports to action daily:
- Daily Sales backorder report
- Daily Margin Report
- Outstanding Picking Report
- Record and feedback to internal sales on daily visits to customers regarding backorders, new orders etc
- Follow up with internal sales that on time loading of sales orders for the day is loaded on the system.
- Follow up with internal sales: Track backorders, check stock availability and release all picking slips.
- Follow up with internal sales: Inform the buyer and production of stock levels.
Sales Target
- Strife towards achieving your monthly sales target and provide analysis of results, positive or negative.
- Monthly Forecasting per customer, per department, per product class
- Yearly Budgeting per customer, per department, per product class
Health and Safety
- Carry out the health and safety risk assessments in the department and report that.
Outbound Sales/ Relations building
- Identify dormant customers & revive
- Build external relationships that could add value to the business
Customer visits
- Record and analyse the visits to both existing and new leads vs the sales achieved.
- At least visit two of your existing customers with your internal sales specialist to build relationships.
New Leads
- Evaluate opportunities and pursue new business outside of existing customer base wherever possible.
- Liaise with your internal sales person to make follow up calls to the potential customers identified.

Qualification
– Grade 12
– Minimum 3 years external Bearing and Transmission sales experience
– Customer management qualification
