An opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced Financial Manager in Durban
Purpose of the position
The candidate, amongst other things, will be responsible and accountable for all the financials of the South African based facility. This varies from input, output, interpretation, analysing, presentation, reporting and management. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage our finance department
- Ensure financial compliance of the business with relevant regulations
- Manage and oversee standard costing and profit plan vs actual
- Implement and manage financial policies
- Verify and approve financial transaction of the business
- Manage budget of the finance department and other units of the business
- Responsible for annual (year-end) audit
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance.
- 2 – 3 Years’ experience in finance management role
- Experience in managing staff and available resources
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
- Good organisational and leadership skills
- The individual will be responsible for all financial legal obligations of the business as per employment regulations.
