Do you have strong analytical and critical thinking skills? Our Talent team is recruiting for a Digital Channel Owner to oversee the end to end functioning of the online web channel for iKhokha.
You will be responsible to ensure the data is critically assessed and fed back into the UX team for continual enhancements to drive top line and bottom line growth.

So, what will you do?
You will ensure that operationally all key web channel projects are being run effectively.
You will ensure that a web strategy is defined in line with the overarching CX service design of the iKhokha business.
You will be able to extract meaningful insights from the SEO team, critically challenge and question insights.
You will have knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Shopify advantageous), CRM & CMS platforms (HubSpot advantageous) & Google products including Analytics, Tag Manager & Ads.
Deal Breakers:
4- 6 years solid experience in a digital agency world or on a digital product.
Completed relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, strategic brand or commerce degree.
2 – 3 years’ experience in managing and critically assessing digital channels and how they integrate into the larger business ecosystem.
Experience in working with SEO management tools, and able to extract meaningful insights from the SEO team.
Experience with HTML and CSS and a proven track record of using A/B testing programmes.
In-depth understanding of data, analytics & key digital web metrics.
Additional skills:
Ability to analyse and report on traffic data effectively, with actionable insights.
Able to work autonomously, self-manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and able to ‘get things done’ against deadlines.
Ability to assess qualitative and quantitative research data sourced from the data team and qualitative interviews conducted by yourself and extract the key insights.
Must be able to showcase a wide breadth of best practice understanding and continually reads and participates in webinars to keep abreast of digital consumer web, commerce and app trends.
What are we looking for?
Work closely with the Product, Marketing, Sales and Support teams to ensure that the day to day functioning and running of the iKhokha web channel is seamless and optimal from a customer facing perspective as well as an internal business process perspective.
Continuously look to optimize the sales funnel and entrench A/B testing on new creative, new UX tweaks/flows and new products or ad campaigns.
Critically assess, refine and report back to the broader business on the web channel functioning and growth.
Help formulate an SEO strategy and project manage the modules through to completion with the project management team.
Ensure continual alignment of brand and brand assets and design language across all web channel pages and ensure that changes to copy are briefed into the correct teams as and when new things are launched.
Work closely with the SEO and SEM team to advise on how to increase organic and paid traffic to the website and critically monitor growth as the year continues.
Brief in UX reviews based on the analytics and review thereof.
Act as a key member in the decision to select a new CMS for the iKhokha business and assist the project team with driving the implementation through to completion.
Own all the blog content and ensure that new, relevant and SEO optimized content is produced by the copywriters in the team on a regular basis.
Manage all of the landing pages created to support personalization and ensure the results of the landing pages are critically assessed alongside the performance marketing manager and feedback key insights to the team in creative counsel.
Continually research web and ecommerce best practice and feed these insights to the Head of Marketing for new tests and trials to ensure that iKhokha is constantly evolving and learning.
