Job Responsibilities

  • To collect on excesses/arrears on Current Account, Homeloans/Commercial Loans and Vehicle Finance.
  • Conclude acceptable arrangements as per Credit & Risk Policy
  • Implement sound credit risk management principles
  • Build strong relationships with bankers / clients to ensure effective collections.
  • Ensure efficient work ethic and achievement of Business Unit strategies and goals.
  • Provide timeous feedback.
  • Daily tasks to be managed efficiently.
  • Manage default accounts timeously.
  • Adopt regulatory changes.
  • Ensure clean audit in area of responsibility.
  • Implement client exit or rehabilitation strategies as applicable.
  • Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise, ensuring personal and professional growth.
  • Understand and embrace the company’s vision and values, leading by example.

Minimum Experience Level

  • 2 -5 years in Banking within a Credit environment including Collections of current accounts, home loans, and asset-based products.

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification

  • Higher Diploma in Credit/Risk Management/Finance or Banking Degree
