Client based in the Eastern suburbs seeks the services of Business Development Manager to expand our current market share within the mining sector, through the development of a sales pipeline and management of all activities associated with the pre-bid, bid and post bid functions.

The activities associated with the function will include but may not be limited to the following.

  1. Responsible for maintaining the Sales and Marketing Strategy for the mining within the allocated area of work including:
    1. Competitor Analysis
    2. Customer Targeting

i. Area Specific

ii. Mining Sector Specific

    1. Lead Generation Activities

i. Including Marketing Activities

    1. Products and Services
  1. Tender management and contract finalisation
  2. Attracting New Customers
  3. Build Referral and Lead Generation Network
  4. Expanding the range of services offered – find opportunities to increase the “waste wallet
  5. Creating/ Reaching new markets
  6. Generating Leads of Possible Sales in Mining Sector.
  7. Intelligence Gathering from Customers (In the mining segment from various sources) and competitors.
  8. Formal Proposal and Presentation development
  9. Information Management
  10. Customer Service”
  11. Debtors management
