Cyber Security 1 AB (CYBER1), a multi-product and multi-jurisdictional leader in cyber-security advisory and solutions, has signed an exclusive non-binding letter of intent to acquire the operations of Cyber Security South Africa (CSSA) and Cyber Security Africa Distribution (CSAD).

Robert Brown, has been appointed as acting CEO of CYBER1.

The restructuring includes a consolidation of both Cyber Security South Africa and Cyber Security Africa Distribution in order to maximise economies of scale and provide vendors and resellers with a single point of contact. Martin Britz has adopted the role of CEO of both companies across the African continent.

“I will maintain my functions as the managing director of CSAD but I have also assumed overall authority for CSSA and CSAD in their interactions with vendors and resellers across both companies,” says Britz.

Toni Bowker will continue to function as the MD of CSSA, and Simon Campbell-Young will continue to handle all transactional business throughout Africa.

“These are exciting times for both CSSA and CSAD as we tackle the challenges of 2020, while concurrently growing into the opportunities we have identified for the future. This alignment of operations across our current territories will lead to improved service levels and increased confidence levels for all our vendors and resellers,” says Britz.
