Altron Arrow has secured a distribution agreement with cyber security specialist Centrify, covering its portfolio of Identity-Centric Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

Centrify’s cloud-ready, Identity-Centric approach to PAM is based on Zero Trust principles of ‘never trust, always verify, enforce least privilege’.

Warren Mande, MD of Altron Arrow, says: “Data breaches represent a significant threat to organisations and the information they manage, these could lead to devastating losses in business productivity, reputational damage and revenue. Cyber security has never been more important.”

Centrify’s solutions are designed to protect organisations against unauthorised access and data breaches by managing permissions for humans and, increasingly, for machines, that are often fragmented across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

“The modern enterprise requires a modern approach to privileged access management, as attack surfaces like cloud, DevOps, containers and microservices have significantly expanded IT complexity,” says Kamel Heus, regional director, northern and southern Europe, Middle East and Africa at Centrify. “Centrify’s Identity-Centric PAM solutions can help any organisation optimise and secure privileged access, whether the requester is human or machine, in the cloud or on-premises. This relationship with Arrow significantly expands the depth, breadth, and scope of our channel strategy in the region.”

Centrify’s cyber security solutions address the inherent security challenges that organisations inevitably encounter on their digital transformation journeys. With Centrify, administrative management and access is seamless, security and compliance postures are strengthened, and machines are empowered to defend themselves against cyber-threats.

“This agreement aligns with our goal to adopt Arrow Electronics’ (Arrow) global Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) strategy,” says Renato Martins, head of sales at Altron Arrow.
