Childcare Development Centre Principal – Sandton – R 360 000.00
To oversee the daily operation of the Childcare Development Center (CDC) by ensuring that the best possible environment and care are provided for the young children.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS: (Formal qualifications)
- B. Degree in Early Childhood Education/Development
- At least 6-10 Years post qualification experience in pre-school education of which 3 years must be direct exposure in managing a Childcare Centre/Crèche.
- Experience in working with budget.
- Management and Leadership experience including supervision and appraisal of staff.
- Knowledge of Foundation Stage curriculum development and implementation.
- Knowledge and practical understanding of child development and parenting.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations relating to day care for young children and the inspections process for approval of Childcare settings.
- Good understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.
