IT Security Architect / Consultant (IT Risk / SAAS / SSO)
DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global professional services client who are looking for an IT Security Architect to join the team in Johannesburg on a contract basis to work on a global document management (GDMS) migration project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the secure design, implementation and ongoing management and continuous improvement of a GDMS SaaS application. The Security Architect will be expected to coach and support team members in fully understanding, utilising and complying with the agreed controls and processes, and to ensure security best practices are followed and delivered as part of the platform.
Responsibilities:
– Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
– Deliver the Security High Level design for the GDMS platform
– Ensure compliance of the GDMS platform with Information Security guidelines, including networks, systems integrations, system administration, vendor data centre services and operations.
– Ensure Information Security review and sign off to the GDMS platform prior to service go-live.
Required Skills / Experience:
– Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability
– Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security
– Extensive experience in CIS guidelines
– Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions
– Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies
– Experience in supporting business transformation projects and programs
– Experience in supporting projects and programs with a large user deployment/migration element
