As a Field Engineer you will be responsible to execute service work according to agreed work flows and in accordance with standard processes and safety guidelines. You will also be responsible to deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers and in close co-operation with customer and other teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities.
Your Tasks
- Perform predictive maintenance Service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity
- Customer approach: Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation. Create and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identify new sales opportunities and communicates them internally.
- Documentation and reports: Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Report work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
- Troubleshooting: Proactively identify potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoot equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
- Health and safety: Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents.
The requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 Years post grad experience
- NDT Experiaance
- Python & C plus experience
- Advanced Excel experience
- Conduct detailed reporting
- Willing to be field based initially then taking on increased office responsibilities
- Able to travel nationally & International for projects
- The incumbent will be responsible to arrange the servicing, execute as well as providing feedback to the customer.
- Driver’s License
- Ability to work at hight and in a confined space
