A Project Management and Development Company is seeking two Contracts Managers for projects and developments based in the Seychelles. The projects include a 60 Villa Hotel Development as well as Private Island Development. Candidates must be able to relocate to the remote islands for the 2 year contract and there is a possibility that the contract could be renewed. This position is ideally suited for Senior Candidates who are ready to relocate independently.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma
  • 10 year + experience

Report to the CEO and the Company Construction Director:

  • Have Hotel Development experience
  • Be able to work independently in a remote location
  • Have knowledge of General Building Contracts
  • Manage domestic sub-contractors
  • Manage all project related meetings, site, sub contractor etc.
  • Manage with the QS, Buying Department and Sub Contractors, all of the project procurement requirements, including the monitoring of the procurement schedule
  • Develop and manage all construction schedules / programmes
  • Dealing with any unexpected costs
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the client appointed consultants
  • Ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
  • Making sure that the works meet agreed technical standards
  • Be able to work with foreign workers on-site and in an office
