Our RESEARCH industry client is looking for a New Business Sales Executive who is exceptional at cold calling and closing deals in the RESEARCH industry, but can also build exceptional client relationships. You have a professional, fully committed and mature attitude.
Purpose of this role:
- You will be responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving sales targets.
- You will conduct research to identify leads and research business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person.
- You will also actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities.
Knowledge and Experience required:
- 3 – 5 years’ related experience in a similar role
- Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree preferable
- Comprehensive knowledge in the RESEARCH industry of the retail and/or manufacturer or trade marketing or sales & merchandising space in FMCG, cross sector experience essential.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals, and achieve targets
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Strong numerical acumen
- Strong working knowledge base of Microsoft applications
- Extensive RESEARCH SALES experience
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development and time management
- Creativity and ingenuity in developing successful sales strategies
- Retail Measurement Survey knowledge base advantageous
