Job Purpose

The associate will work within the Commercial department, reporting directly to the Department Heads. As the Junior Marketing Coordinator, the associate will be responsible for conducting market and prospect research, strategizing and developing both digital and direct marketing strategies and proposals, drafting reports, and keeping up-to-date with the industry’s latest developments, trends, competitors, and promotional opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Digital and direct marketing and advertising campaigns in line with BDM’s
  • Tracks marketing activity data, maintains promotional materials inventory, plans meetings and trade shows, maintains databases, and prepares reports.
  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department and agencies, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Supports Sales staff by providing market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and any new industry information.
  • Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising, maintaining research databases.
  • Plans meetings, webinars and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, ideas and innovations
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Cultivate, develop and manage long term partnerships with Media publications and Vendors.

Additional Responsibilities

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably within the Personal Care and Cosmetics industry or Manufacturing Industry
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, publications, digital and display advertising campaigns, digital events and webinars
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Experience with B2B and multivariate consumer experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing campaigns on all major search engines
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Pro DC, and JavaScript development and constraints
