Purpose Statement
- The Analyst Developer in the Technology Platform Engineering team is responsible for analysis and development of different technology platforms that solves integration and compliance of all non-functional components required within the Capitec IT ecosystem to IT industry standards.
- The Platform developer delivers the building blocks required to minimise non-functional delivery components from functional delivery teams by hiding the infrastructure detail and lifecycle from the application in total in accordance with Capitec standard.
Experience
- 5 -7 years proven experience in software development
- Essential experience in the following development languages is required:
- JavaScript/Node.js
- Open API
- Rest Services
- Swagger
- Git
- SQL
- Application architecture & design
- Application and data integration
- Continous Intergration, deployment and delivery
- DevOps and Automation
- Ansible playbooks
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- A relevant degree in Information Technology
