A Degree in Nursing or a Degree in Emgergency Medical Care essential.Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse or registered with the HPCSA as an ALS Paramedic. Demonstrates at least 2 years working experience and knowledge as a Professional Nurse in an emergency centre or 2 years operational experience as an ALS Paramedic.Demonstrates working knowledge and experience in the application of Emergency Care within a EMS Environment. Upholds high ethical, confidentiality and professional standards.Ability to approach work in a systematic manner and accurately pays attention to detail.Competent email and telephonic etiquette essential.Builds trusting relationships by consistently valuing and respecting others and achieve shared goals.Strives to identify and deliver on client’s needs, keeping client informed and focussing on the client experience.Demonstrates sound knowledge and competence of the CAD system and experience of MS Office Suite.
Key Outputs
Oversee clinical cases with the ER24 Contract Centre.Ensures and confirms clinical information with the medical aid schemes and provide clinical recommendations to IFT’s.Approve cases with appropriate care.Provides medical information and telephonic trauma debriefing. Clinically assess the condition of the patient.Provides basic contact centre administration to the specialised services team that includes case notes and quotations for private clients.
