We are currently looking for an experienced chef who specialises in Vegan and Vegaterian food to run a canteen for a well known business school in Sandton
The ideal candidate would have run a canteen, cafe, restaurant or worked in a hotel / guest house
Must be a qualified chef and should specialise in vegatarian / vegan food
Experience with Thai, Asian or Indian food would be an advantage
Experience with costing, portion control and menu planning essential
Duties / Responsibilities
Working hours generally will be between 7 am – 3 pm Monday
7 am – 12pm on Saturdays
Running of canteen and creating a cafe like menu (health food & snacks)
Preparing cooked lunch for students
Preparing vegatarian and vegan lunches for the management team
Catering for company events & functions
Handling stock takes, inventory & cash ups
Should be able to start ASAP
